#stayathome

Dear friends of the English Cemetery,

Sadly, and for reasons we are all aware of, the English Cemetery has been closed to the public for more than three weeks and we haven’t been able to provide any tours or other cultural activities, but we wanted you to know that despite depleted funds we haven’t stopped working to preserve this magnificent part of our international heritage! Hopefully this summer there will be plenty going on at the Cemetery, and we will keep you updated.

Meanwhile we are determined to forge ahead with improvements to the English Cemetery, and we have a very attractive project in hand which we will report on as soon as possible. A lot of preliminary work is being done, and we hope to be able to count on your help to get it going when the time comes!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support, past present and future. As a token of our appreciation, we will be inviting you all to a free guided tour when we re-open. Until then, please accept our sincere best wishes to you and your families, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Stay safe!

Bruce McIntyre
